coupleletters is an AI-based question game for couples. Every day each partner receives a personalized question on WhatsApp. Once both have answered, the answers become visible to each other (the reveal). Over 100 couples are currently active.

coupleletters is made for every kind of relationship. You can be freshly in love or together for 30 years, living under one roof or far apart. The questions adapt to your situation.

During sign-up, your partner’s email address and WhatsApp number are entered as well. For your partner it’s easy: one tap on the activation link, a few taps for the profile. After that, you’ll both receive a WhatsApp message from us. Once you both confirm with “GO”, the daily questions begin.

The first 3 days are free. After that, coupleletters costs $5 a month for both of you together, not per person. The subscription can be canceled monthly at any time.

No. WhatsApp is all you need and there is no extra app to install. Changes can be made in the private space (website), where the Memory Book or the Couple Streak can also be viewed.

The private space is your personal couple area on the website: this is where you find the Memory Book, the Couple Streak with its badges and your profiles. Logging in works without a password. You receive a one-time link at your email address instead.

The Memory Book is the chronological archive of all questions and answers. A year from now you can go back and read what moved the two of you today.

Milestone questions look back on your time together, for example on which answer surprised you the most. You both receive the very same one, always on the day after you reach a streak level.

The Couple Streak counts how many days in a row you have both answered. As the streak grows, new question categories and badges are unlocked.

Your Couple Streak passes through 10 levels that reach from Bronze all the way to Red Diamond. Each level comes with a badge and permanently unlocks a new question category.

No. Each of you gets their own question every day, personalized with details from your profiles. At the reveal, both questions and both answers become visible to each other.

The questions are very personal because your profiles flow right in. Your nicknames for each other, your favorite places and songs, even your inside jokes can show up in a question. Every question feels like it was written just for you.

38 categories are waiting for you. Ten of them are unlocked with your Couple Streak (marked with a lock), and a few appear automatically to match your relationship (marked with a heart):

The questions themselves do not repeat, though certain topics will come up more than once. That is intentional. The answer you give today often sounds quite different a year from now.

No. Answers stay hidden until both of you have answered. Only then are they revealed. Nobody can peek beforehand.

There is one subscription for the two of you. The person who signs up manages it. The partner never pays anything.

Yes. The subscription can be canceled monthly and there is no notice period. After that it simply ends.

All questions and answers are stored on GDPR-compliant servers in Germany. Only the two of you can read them. Your answers are never shared, sold or used for advertising.

The Couple Streak starts back at zero. Your record stays, and so do your badges and every category you have unlocked. The next day simply continues as usual.

You only need a few minutes a day. You read the question and answer right in the chat. Whether an answer is two words or two paragraphs long is up to you.
