# coupleletters

> coupleletters is a paid web service for couples. Each partner receives one personal
> question per day on WhatsApp. Neither of them sees the other's answer until both have
> replied — then both answers are revealed at once. The service is available in English
> and German and costs 5 € / 5 $ per month for the couple, cancellable monthly.

## How it works

- **Sign up together.** One partner signs up for both, pays the single subscription and
  invites the other by email. Both confirm with one click.
- **Fill in the profile.** 40 optional fields (favourites, habits, shared memories).
  The daily questions are personalised from them. The ritual starts once both profiles
  are at least 80 % complete and both have replied "GO" on WhatsApp.
- **One question a day.** Shortly after local midnight each partner gets their own
  question, drawn from 3,800 questions in 38 categories.
- **Reveal.** As soon as both have answered, both see the other's answer in the chat.
  Only on the same day — the shared streak breaks otherwise.
- **Couple Streak.** Ten levels (3 to 365 days). Each level unlocks a badge and one
  additional question category, permanently.
- **Memory Book.** Every answered day is kept in a private archive inside the couple's
  protected area on the website.

## Notes for automated readers

- Answers, profiles and uploaded images are private to the couple. They are never public
  and are not available through any URL without the couple's own credentials.
- The daily messages are delivered through the WhatsApp Cloud API. Questions and answers
  are not used to train machine-learning models.
- There is no free tier and no advertising.
